Growing Up in Northwest Arkansas
I grew up here before the Bentonville square looked anything like it does today, when Rogers' back roads were still gravel and downtown Fayetteville rolled up early on weeknights. I stayed for college, too — earning a Master's in Teaching from the University of Arkansas right here in Fayetteville — before finding my real fit in sales, a field I've loved ever since. Watching this region grow from a handful of small towns into one of the fastest-growing corners of the country has been the privilege of a lifetime.
That's really why I do this work now. After 47 years of watching NWA change, I wanted a way to help the people arriving today feel as at home here as I do, whether they're putting down roots for the first time or, like me, simply can't imagine living anywhere else. I'm also a founding member of the OZ Trails Bike Park. I love to ride! Motocross was my thing when I was a little younger; these days you'll find me out on the trails on an E-MTB instead. Either way, this place isn't just where I live, it's where I ride, and that's part of what makes local knowledge here feel personal instead of professional.
