Growing Up in Northwest Arkansas

I grew up here before the Bentonville square looked anything like it does today, when Rogers' back roads were still gravel and downtown Fayetteville rolled up early on weeknights. Watching this region grow from a handful of small towns into one of the fastest-growing corners of the country has been the privilege of a lifetime.

That's really why I do this work now. After 47 years of watching NWA change, I wanted a way to help the people arriving today feel as at home here as I do, whether they're putting down roots for the first time or, like me, simply can't imagine living anywhere else.
